The National Cycle Dakota 4.5/Heavy Duty Windshield Mount Kit bracket design provides for the ability to select a Heavy Duty Wide Frame or Dakota 4.5/Heavy Duty Narrow Frame windshield, for most motorcycles, to ensure an excellent fit to the cruiser and the look you want. By basing the windshield frame measurement with the center of the fork, all the necessary hardware to accommodate for the differences between the measurements are included in the kit. For this reason, National Cycle sells their bracket kits separate from the windshield.
National Cycle Heavy Duty motorcycle windshields come in either a Wide Frame or Narrow Frame to provide you a selection of sizes and looks for your cruiser. The vertical frame measurement is based on the center line of the fork and the necessary hardware is included to accommodate the differences between the windshield frame and the motorcycle. Therefore, the Mount Kit required will vary depending on windshield choice. Wide Frame mount kits will mount any Heavy Duty Wide Frame windshield, while Dakota 4.5/Narrow Frame mount kits will mount any Dakota 4.5 or Heavy Duty Narrow Frame windshield.
