The EVO handlebar is Pro Taper's flagship unbraced handlebar. Oversized diameter handlebars without crossbars were invented and patented by Pro Taper in 1991. Without sacrificing strength, this design yields increased flex and impact absorption over conventional handlebars, offering the rider improved comfort and reduced fatigue. Using a premium 7000 series aluminum alloy construction and computer profiled four millimeter thick wall design, the EVO handlebar is up to 25% lighter and 45% stronger than competing handlebars.
