Rugged Radios RH-5R Handheld Radio IMSA Single Seat Kit

This custom single seat IMSA package from Rugged combines everything you need for a single driver with a Rugged RH-5R 5 watt dual band handheld radio, helmet kit, push to talk, and more.

UHF is most commonly used in short or oval track environments where there is a clear line of site between radios. Its also optimal when race conditions present obstacles such as buildings, structures, hills, etc.. VHF may be preferred in longer course environments when you need to transmit and receive over longer distances.

Note: Due to IMSA wiring, using mixed connections (i.e. IMSA and NASCAR together) is not recommended as it will inhibit communication.
